The draft isopleth figure below shows the probable maximum 24-hour average volatile organic chemical concentrations in the area surrounding the Intel facility in micrograms per cubic meter (pollution per cubic meter). This is for the case of the thermal oxidizers in bypass mode, based on information from the Intel permit application. Modeling was done using the EPA air dispersion model known as ISCST-3 and the meteorological data used was Intel's onsite met data. To see how this modeling is done, go to the Model Page.
