Campaign for a Better New Mexico

We believe democracy doesn’t end on Election Day and that we have a right to participate in the decisions that affect our lives.

The Campaign for a Better New Mexico is a nonpartisan, nonprofit effort to engage our communities in the political and electoral system so our voices are heard and our power is felt.  

We can make government work for the people by expanding our power to create an electorate and elected officials who better represent our communities and social justice values.  

Our goal is to build and sustain a base of socially conscious, working class voters of color and allied voters who have the  grassroots electoral power to both support and hold our elected officials accountable; to develop new politically conscious community leaders who have the skills to run political campaigns and run for political office; and to work with allies to collaboratively conduct broad based civic engagement campaigns.  
 
Our voice and vote do matter, let’s continue to make them listen.
