• Sunday November 6, 2005, 4pm to 7pm, in the South Valley – Dia De Los Muertos Parade – Call Victoria (247 8832) if you want to volunteer or to participate in the parade. We’re making an altar and a float, so please don’t hesitate to help out J (This event sponsored by La Raza Unida)
• On Tuesday November 15, 2005 at 7pm – SWOP will be hosting a screening of Robert Greenwald’s new film, WalMart: The High Cost of Low Price. See the trailer! Please join us at the SWOP office (211 10^th Street SW) to learn about how much that cheap TV really costs. RSVP – There’s space for about 30! [We will also show parts of Audioslave’s Concert from Havana, Cuba]

• November 10, 2005, 9am. ABQ Raging Grannies support rally at recruitment office to respond to Sally Alice’s letter from the USMC inviting her to enlist. The Raging Grannies say they’re “always ready to serve our country…But we don’t want our Children, or our grandchildren, or any young people to give their lives in wars of aggression.”
• Novermber 20, 2005 – March to Give Homage to Petroglyphs. More details to come. Contact SAGE Council at 505-260-4696.
