3. Similar Politics. (He was the Big Bill 1's ambassador. Die hard neo liberal. Green Chile diplomacy.)
2. He likes cigars. (Ok. I had to say it. Forgive me.)
And the number one reason Bill Richardson is the Hispanic Bill Clinton...
He comes from a poor South(west)ern state.
That's the real question Richardson should have to answer. New Mexico's children were just named the "least likely to succeed" in the nation, according to a study. That means New Mexico's children have the least access to opportunity in the country, across the board on all indicators - health care, education, income, child poverty, and on down the line.
What has he really done to address this? I think we need new big ideas right here in New Mexico. And he should have to answer that to get votes.
