thanks for posting this.

This war is making me sick. for real.

i don't know if you all have heard my thoughts on empathy, but...like, our brains can't tell the difference between something that is happening to us or what we see happening to other people.

anywayz, i digress.

i'd really like to see folks start to organize against this war more strategically.

how can we stop it? the media and our elected officials have decided we just can't. the military industrial complex is just too big and powerful for change and the president's a crazy person, they say.

but i think there's a plan. and it's less about impeaching a president than it is about hitting the media, political and economic elite where it hurts 'em most. in the pocket.

here it goes: instead of another mobilization after the mobilization on saturday to stop the war, how about organzing for a day without americans who are against the war. maybe a week.

we could still march if people want. but folks shouldn't go to work until bush quits the war.

it's as far from going shopping - bush's answer for how we can help in iraq - as i can think.

i know it's a hard thing for the working poor to do, not go to work and all, but we're the one's paying the most for this war...

just a thought.

i'm going to find a demo to go to on saturday.
