In an unprecedented call from communities, working families and immigrant workers across the country, millions of people will not go to work or school, not purchase anything and rally in the streets on Monday, May 1, 2006.

Cities across the country will be holding rallies and marches in support of a modern immigration policy based on human rights and the realities of today's global economy.
